Public-Facing Research Findings

What the open web reveals about the project today — two findings that together define the starting line for the 90-day plan.

Finding 01

Social media accounts established, not currently utilized

The project's social media accounts, including @heldhands.short, have been established but are not currently being utilized — no active content, engagement, or audience-building activity is underway. The presence exists; the journey has not yet begun.

Finding 02

SEO findings are nonexistent

Search results for the account and the project return no SEO footprint whatsoever — no press, no casting listings, no external links pointing to the project anywhere on the open web. The entire "Journey" strategy depends on discoverability, and today, nothing leads here.

Part 2

Open Questions & Working Assumptions

The strategy and calendar below are built on stated assumptions. Confirming these answers locks the plan; changing them shifts it.

Working assumptions in effect: Day 1 = strategy kickoff with the 3-week sprint starting immediately (shoot ≈ Days 19–21) · Instagram is the only live account; TikTok and LinkedIn are created Week 1 · Crowdfunding platform undecided — Week 6 launch slot held · Sanctuary community is warm but small. When T-0 is confirmed, the entire calendar shifts to match.
S

Strategy & Positioning

3 questions · timeline, funding, audience

  1. What is the actual shoot date (T-0)? The plans reference a 3-week sprint — is that clock currently running, or are we pre-sprint? Every milestone in the calendar anchors to this date.
  2. Is there a crowdfunding target and platform (Seed&Spark, Kickstarter, fiscal sponsor), or does "crowdfund" currently mean the investment/sponsorship forms? Is there a production budget figure the asks ladder up to? Every call-to-action pillar needs a number and a destination.
  3. Who is the client for this deliverable — Dawn/Nudawn as producer, or the film as its own entity? Who reads it: just Dawn, or the whole production team?
M·A

Messaging & Alignment

3 questions · synopsis, brand assets, community

  1. Is the "One Sheet FINAL" synopsis available? Messaging centers on the emotional core, but the synopsis, logline, and theme are needed to evaluate against.
  2. Do brand assets exist — logo, palette, typography — or is "Sacred, Regal, Sensual, Cosmic" still a written direction only?
  3. Is the Sanctuary community an existing audience with real reach (email list, prior events, engaged followers elsewhere), or an aspiration? The difference between activating a warm base and building cold changes the launch sequence.
R·T

Rhythm & Trajectory

2 questions · capacity, live accounts

  1. Who is the Social Lead, and what is their realistic weekly capacity? The prescribed cadence is a heavy lift during pre-production for a small team.
  2. Which accounts are actually live today? Are TikTok and LinkedIn created yet, or is Instagram the only active account? Same for the @reofdawn production company pages.

Scope

1 question · audit boundaries

  1. Is the website live, in design, or brief-only? And is the @reofdawn production company presence in scope, or is the audit for @heldhands.short exclusively?
Housekeeping: the website mockup was not received — materials contain the production roadmap and the written landing page brief, no visual design file. If a mockup exists, it will be folded into the Alignment assessment.

Part 3

Strategic Foundation

Core objective: convert the pre-production journey into an invested audience that supplies the film's four needs — talent, funding, crew, and eventual screening attendance — with the website forms as the conversion point for all of them.

Messaging Architecture

Offered as a starting point for the team's conversation, not a settled framework. Every post traces to one of three narrative lanes — if a post doesn't fit a lane, it doesn't run. The client's four pillars (Vision, Sacred Process, Sanctuary, Call to Action) map cleanly onto these lanes; this adds a discipline check.

Lane 01

The Story

Why Held Hands matters. The emotional core from the one-sheet; the "divine feminine" aesthetic made visible.

Lane 02

The Build

The honest, time-pressured making of it — "3 weeks to make a masterpiece." BTS, process, problems solved in public.

Lane 03

The Invitation

Specific, concrete asks with deadlines. "We need a location in [area] by Friday." "Auditions close Tuesday."

Platform Roles & Cadence

Calibrated to realistic small-team capacity — slightly below the brief's stated targets, because Rhythm scoring rewards consistency over ambition. Daily Stories will collapse during production weeks; 4–5/week sustained beats 7/week for two weeks followed by silence.

PlatformCadenceRole
Instagram @heldhands.short3 feed posts/wk + 4–5 Stories/wkAesthetic home base; regal/cinematic; all four audiences
TikTok2–3/wkRaw BTS; the sprint narrative; talent + community reach
LinkedIn1–2/wkSponsorship / investment credibility; Dawn's personal profile amplifies (pending confirmation)

Part 4

90-Day Content Calendar

Milestone-anchored, not date-anchored — every week snaps to the production timeline. When T-0 is confirmed, the calendar shifts with it.

Phase 1

Foundation & The Sprint

Days 1–21

Infrastructure before content. Nothing gets promoted until every CTA has a destination.

W1

Week 1 — Infrastructure & Launch

accounts · website · crowdfund decision · launch post

  • Secure @reofdawn (corrected spelling) on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn — even if pages stay dormant
  • Create @heldhands TikTok; complete all bios with website link + "A short film in the making · DMV" positioning
  • Publish the website (or a one-page interim) so every CTA has a destination
  • Decide the crowdfunding mechanism — this blocks the Phase 2 fundraising arc
  • Launch post (all platforms): "Why this film exists" — Dawn on camera, 60–90 sec, pinned everywhere
  • Posts: launch video · one-sheet synopsis as carousel · casting notice announcement
W2

Week 2 — Casting & The Countdown

character breakdowns · sprint narrative begins · first LinkedIn post

  • Casting notice runs hard: character breakdowns as individual posts, "what we're looking for" Reels, audition process explainer
  • TikTok begins the sprint narrative: "Day 8 of 21. Script locked. Here's what's left."
  • LinkedIn post #1: the project as a professional opportunity — sponsorship deck teaser
  • Stories: location scouting, vision boards, script table reads
W3

Week 3 — Shoot Week

pre-scheduled feed · raw daily stories · content bank capture

  • Pre-scheduled feed posts (the team will be on set): cast announcement, "meet the crew," first-look still
  • Stories go raw and daily this week only — set life, monitor shots, crafty, wrap moments
  • Capture deliberately for Phase 2: interviews with cast/crew, b-roll of process — this is the content bank for the next 60 days
Phase 2

The Long Middle

Days 22–60

The danger zone. Production energy fades, post-production is invisible, and accounts usually go quiet exactly when funding asks matter most. The counter-move: ration the shoot-week content bank and run the fundraising arc.

W4·5

Weeks 4–5 — The Wrap Story

recap reel · spotlights · gratitude posts

  • "We made it" recap Reel — the emotional payoff of the sprint narrative
  • Cast/crew spotlights — one per post, tag everyone for reach
  • Gratitude posts to locations and collaborators
W6

Week 6 — Finishing Funds Launch

crowdfund launch · anchor video · sponsor packages

  • Crowdfund / finishing-funds launch — platform decided in Week 1
  • Anchor video: "We shot it in 3 days. Here's what it takes to finish it."
  • LinkedIn shifts to sponsor packages tied to specific line items: score, color, sound mix
W7·8

Weeks 7–8 — Post-Production as Content

edit-bay · color grade comparisons · funding milestones

  • Edit-bay time-lapses, "one frame, three versions" color grade comparisons, sound design snippets
  • Weekly funding progress updates with specific milestones unlocked
  • Cadence holds: 3 IG posts/wk, 2 TikToks/wk, 1 LinkedIn/wk
Phase 3

Toward the Screen

Days 61–90

The pivot from "help us make it" to "come see it." Teaser assets, tour infrastructure, and the first real analytics baseline.

W9·10

Weeks 9–10 — Teaser Campaign

first teaser · poster reveal · newsletter push

  • First official teaser (15–30 sec), poster reveal, title card animation
  • Newsletter push: "screening tour dates announced to subscribers first"
W11·12

Weeks 11–12 — Screening Tour Infrastructure

city announcements · host-a-screening · festival proof

  • City announcement posts and host-a-screening invitation
  • Festival submission announcements as social proof
W13

Week 13 — 90-Day Review

first analytics · Phase 2 audit baseline · premiere planning

  • Pull first real analytics and set the Phase 2 audit baseline
  • Plan the premiere push

Part 5

Conservative 90-Day Targets

No paid spend — organic and community only. Targets are deliberately conservative; a pre-launch account earns credibility by hitting realistic numbers, not by chasing vanity metrics.

400–600Instagram followers
4–6%Engagement rate
100%Casting slots via forms
150+Newsletter signups
Crowdfund target: TBD. Pending the platform decision and production budget figure — a number will not be invented. Once confirmed, weekly milestone targets will be added to the Phase 2 calendar.
Next step: confirm the shoot date, the crowdfunding platform, and whether Dawn's personal LinkedIn joins the amplification plan. The full SMART audit sections then follow — reviewed one at a time, per the standard CSSM workflow.
